How to Make PIZZA HUT PAN PIZZA at Home
Not too long ago I tried recreating Domino's pizza from scratch over here it was pretty good but lately I kind of have a new go-to pizza place when it comes to like fast pizza delivery and that is a pizza it's just something about it speaks to me right now the delivery is snappy heat it's delicious it's got a very distinct flavor there pan pizzas there their pan pizzas I want to try recreating that today actually over here let's do it pan pizza what the hell is it it's a pizza made entirely in a pan
You're not handing tossing the dough at all
the dough is gonna be thicker the crust
is gonna be oily ur baking temperatures
a bit different other than that it's a
pizza dough sauce toppings let's start
with the dough let's get going I need
ingredients a TB of sugar quarter cup
milk powder packet of yeast 1/2 a teaspoon of salt four cups of
all-purpose flour 2 tablespoons of olive
oil 1 and 1/3 cup of lukewarm water
needs to be between 105 and 110 degrees
Fahrenheit it is 108 One Bowl in this the bowl I'm going to combine the sugar dry
milk powder packet of yeast and a pinch
of salt add the warm water give it a
mixer only after 5 minutes I'm gonna add
olive oil give it a mix add that flour
with my trusty mixer with the dough hook
attachments I'm going to mix this until
it's formed into a dough
it's gonna take like 10 minutes
Take it out of the bowl knead it by hand
shape it into a sphere lightly oil your
poll and the dough goes in the bowl put
some plastic wrap on top this needs to
rise that's going to take like an hour
and a half put it aside
okay we're gonna make our pizza sauce
our Pizza Hut pizza sauce now apparently
from the recipe, I'm reading this is what
they use I'm just going to blend up
these tomatoes really fast
in a saucepan add my tomato puree sugar
garlic powder basil pepper in bay leaf
thyme oregano a reggae is just a little
bit of lemon juice quarter cup of water
mix it all together now with this pizza the sauce just go for it
add as much as you want
I mean it's
really hard to cut pizza sauce you
really just put a bunch of spices
together with some Tomatoes
oops I'm going to bring that pizza sauce
to a boil and I'm going to lower the
temperature down to a simmer and cook
that for like 45 minutes
and it's simmering put the lid on but
not completely toppings for the pizza I
mean it's pretty straightforward I'm
gonna be using mozzarella cheese graded
of course and pepperoni which I don't
eat a lot of that kind of stuff pork and
pepperoni but when it comes to a pizza pan
pizza it works well it works
really well it's nice hello check this
out an hour and a half later that dough has
risen take the dough out of the bowl cut
this into three equal pieces
I can save those two for a rainy day
just working with this and with a rolling pin I'm going to roll this out
into like an 8-inch circle something
like that not too thin no people not too
thin
now my pan of choice today is a cast-iron skillet that is my weapon of a choice I'm gonna soak at the paper towel
with some olive oil and I'm gonna rub it
all around the inside of this pan spare
no expense make sure that there's no
remnants of paper towel in there because
that's weird
Okay I rolled this dough a bit too big
I'll make it work
now you just want to make sure that it
fits perfectly in that pan should be
good
add the pizza sauce first come on let's
go let's go but not too much
not too much just enough to cover just
enough to cover this really cheese on
top now it's okay to get a little cheese
up on the crust like up here, that's
totally cool I'll just do it right now
there's some there add it there that's
okay that's nice that's too much
pepperoni I've got the oven preheated to
450 degrees Fahrenheit 226 ish degrees
Celsius I'm gonna bake this for 15
minutes good luck
It's good it's really tasty I really
enjoy it I'm gonna eat all this and I'm
gonna eat it with a smile on my face but
is it a Pizza Hut pan pizza it's time to
say not really something in the cheese
it's something in the dough it's not
miming Pizza Hut exactly and that is
always going to be the case because I
don't know what they're doing okay guys
